Fallen Moogles <MOG> Is hosting an event:
Jan 2, 2016 starting at 5PM CST
It will conclude around 12AM CST on Jan 3, 2016
Test your mettle in a battle to the finish to determine the ultimate IRON MOOGLE. Choose your party and begin a gauntlet run of the first 12 dungeons in the game, in order, using only the items and gear you find along the way. A complete wipe for your party is the end of the road so only the most determined will survive. The parties who make it furthest in the time allowed will go head to head in a sudden death elimination trial.
The winning party will be awarded:
*** 2 million gil ***
The Dungeons:
1. Sastasha
2. The Tam-Tara Deepcroft
3. Copperbell Mines
4. Halatali
5. The Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak
6. Haukke Manor
7. Brayflox's Longstop
8. Sunken Temple of Qarn
9. Cutters Cry
10. The Stone Vigil
11. Dzemael Darkhold
12. The Aurum Vale
The Rules:
* You must register your party with MOG contest officials before starting your first dungeon. You may not change parties, if you leave your party you cannot join another. If your party loses a member it can refill its open position but the new member must start without gear despite the party's current dungeon level. You win and lose as a team so choose your configuration wisely.
* All party members must begin with level 1 weathered weapons for their job and nothing else. No glamours or glamour gear is allowed. You must complete each dungeon on the job you registered in the competition. Equip and use dungeon items, weapons, and armor as they drop to build up your gear set and upgrade as you progress through higher level dungeons, crafted and vendor items are strictly prohibited. No outside potions or food are allowed.
* You may only move on to a higher level dungeon once you have completed the one before it, however you may run these as many times as you would like in the timeframe given to acquire gear. You do not have to complete the dungeon list but those who make it the furthest will have a chance to win the competition.
* A complete KO/wipe where every member of the party dies locks in your party's official end point so a conservative approach is wise. Parties who have experienced a wipe can continue playing in the afterlife. Record your end progress with MOG contest officials and play on as long as you want. Winners will not be determined until contest end.
