Thread: Is 2.0 Actually A New Game?

Would the new engine change the realism of the game? would it look something like that Art work they display with the UI? if it does then it be more of a downgrade for me ; ; i been posting everywhere that been talking about the new stuff i know the pictrue is art work and not in game but still wonder if the engine change the overall look of the game ; ;

From a technical standpoint it is going to be an entire new game, running on entirely new server software and using an entirely new client. But from a player's "game" standpoint, it will still be Final Fantasy XIV.

You mean the look of the art work or something else?

Personally, I hope so. I'm probably in the minority but I don't particularly like the art style we currently have so I'd be up for it changing.
Also, I hope they fix all the clipping issues, it's so annoying and I've never played another game with this many of them >_<

They can change the area but still keep the look of the art the game look better if they change it to what the display in the art work or more like rfit,aion it be a downgrade for me.
