    [Dev Suggestion] 8-Man Dungeons

    Currently you are releasing two, Light Party, Dungeons. While good for fast, easy play I think it also limits you on what you can do in design. With a Full Party you have more access to mix it up since you have two tanks, two healers, and 4 dps. You can split the groups up, use crowd control mechanics in boss fights, or even have players control things like cannons and traps while other have to fight.

    I know this would make for more difficult content but it's that the point? You would have a Light party dungeon with low ilvl requirement for people to gear up and a Full party dungeon for people to work on getting the best, mid core, gear of the patch.

    As for roulette, LV60 can be Light Party and Expert can be Full Party.

    I'm all for this, but as long as it isn't cutscene heavy. That's where the problem most players have arise. Tbh I want the party limits to be increased further like 10 man raids etc

    Yes please..it is such a shame how my FC and I have like 6 people ready to do stuff and we can't do dungeons cuz they're ALL 4 man...why not make one for 8?

    Both are 8 man dungeons
    I don't think they really need to do another set of them allot of the 8 man raids are pretty simple. Maybe a bit short though.

    Why not have 8-man versions of the 24-man raids and classify them as Expert Raid? I'd love to visit hard mode versions of CT/ST/WOD with fewer players to troll the run.

    Well first forget those MSQ dungeons. I"m leaning more toward normal dungeons we get each patch but designed around 8 instead of 4. Also you really can't compare Raids to dungeons in this game since the basic scope of a Raid is just a quick run to the main boss. Only raid close to dungeon scale is CT and VA.

    Raids and dungeons are interchangeable names for the same thing. The only thing that makes them one over the other is the tag they put on them.

    They tend not to put as much trash mobs in raids but that is not a rule just look at T4 and T8.
    The amount of running is a bit less most of the time... but then again... look at ST and WoD....
    The map size tends to be smaller in most raids... but then again... its not a trial... though some... really close to the same thing as a trial....the again theres ST and WoD both are huge...
    Some dungeons have been pretty mechanically intensive. Aurum Vale has taken its fair share of souls to the under world...

    What traits make it a raid and not a dungeon?

    I remember reading elsewhere at some point where they didn't feel like recreating the multi-party mechanics for a smaller party so unfortunately I don't see that happening. It would be fun to do more stuff with a full party though
