Editing Rights?

My friend and I bought a room together in our FC to equalize costs. I can't edit the room or use the storage to store my gear there. Can we please make a way for the room or house owner to make someone like a co-owner or have editing rights? That'd make my life so much easier!

That's exactly right! There are two beds in our room and we shared the costs of buying furniture. It's no different than getting a shared room in a college dorm.

It's more like paying for a single bedroom in a hotel and then sneaking a second person in while the portier isn't looking
But honestly, raising 300k takes less than a week even without any crafting, gathering or anything specifically done to raise Gil. Just doing roulettes and selling a bit of the stuff you get from retainer ventures.
Just get a second room? They aren't meant to be shared. That's why it's called a "personal" room. Not a community room. Personal = only belonging to this person.

That was more of me saying 'I can't believe you actually did that'. They're called PERSONAL rooms for a reason. And yes, it IS different than a college dorm, because this isn't college, this is *sparta* FFXIV.

It can't be done at the moment. Maybe the devs will help you out there, but I doubt it. The sharing portion is only for FC houses and personal houses, not Personal Rooms that are part of an FC.
