The House areas doesn't have any interaction ?

So I don't have a house. But I stayed a lot on house zones because it's beautiful especially Mist zone. The people stay in their houses doing nothing just training their chocobos. So I normally enter on the houses just to look them. And the people tell me to leave. I can't even get near. This game have a community problem like WoW. I'm thinking if I had a house, I wouldn't have any neighbor cool as a friend. The point is that you guys are too excited to get a house. But this it's just another alone place on that game.

If they wanted you to really leave they would have locked the houses so only FC members or shared friends could enter. I call it fair game. :3

I even have on my housing plaque saying "come on in". I snoop around others' houses all day.
If they don't want you in they can lock the door.

My house is an open house. You're welcome to come in and snoop around all day; I've left the door unlocked for that reason.

My guess? You interrupted their RP (or their ERP.....) and that's why they asked you to leave.

My house has always been unlocked for last year or whatever. I did lock it at first though just cause I liked crafting alone in it. If I suddenly get a visitor it's kind of fun. I gave tenant rights to a few friends but they don't use their teleport privileges to visit much. :x

My house isn't all that original I guess anymore. I made the moogle exterior and put lots of interesting artifacts and stuff in it (Just bought stuff to make the Savage Gordian Bureau and chair so yay I guess?). I wish I got more visitors. It's hard to put anything so rare in it that people maybe wanna see. My next objective is maybe that Mhachi Coffin if I can find materials to purchase. I doubt I'll ever see it or materials on marketboard though. ; ;

There are lots of houses that look like mine or have similar stuff inside. I wish I was a special snowflake so I had more people come visit. ; ; There really is nothing I can do to it that anyone else can also do.

People were all excited because they were 100% sure that the wards were empty because people had abandoned their houses but the reality is that people simply don't spend a lot of time there because there is nothing interesting to do in these places. Personally, I kinda wish they hadn't done player housing at all and see it as a waste of dev time and resources. Would be better if all the time spent on housing stuff would be spent on open world content.

About 70% of my game time is spent in housing wards, and everyone I personally know is the same. They are the best places to idle. So that's pretty farfetched.

A lot of my guild mates & I when I'm crafting, hang at the residential areas. There are material suppliers, repairers, chocobo training, summoning bell, market board, never-ending journey, armouire & grade 6 dark matter sale NPCs that exist there for functionality. It isn't very active in the wards 2-8 on my server though which is why Ward 1's tend to be more desirable, this is nullified of course if active FCs co-exist together in other wards making it more interesting.

What is interesting is subjective. I spend almost all of my downtime either at my personal home or my Free Company's Estate, more total time than any other zone in the game by far.

I suppose I shouldn't generalize since I don't want to claim to speak for most people but I know when I sit down to play I actually want to actually do something and not just admire how pretty my house is. Idling about is not engaging gameplay to me. It's convenient for crafting I'll give you that but not really that far above Limsa Lominsa with it's aetheryte so close to the market boards.
