i planned on making a word doc to show what plot and ward people would like to reserve but i could not think of a way to even reinforce this reservation. anyone got any ideas? this was honestly the only way i could think of relieving the tension in the residential district and hopefully people will get some well-deserved rest and go on with their day

Honestly if you do manage to figure out a way to do it, I would be amazed. I've been looking at LB Ward 7 Plot 37 since it's so close to so many of my friends... But I couldn't dedicate more than about 12 hours to standing there because of the holiday. It seemed completely abandoned when I first showed up so I can only hope it wasn't contested.

I say that but there were 4 or 5 people who would routinely come by at the top of the hour to check the placard and run off so I went to sleep assuming it would be gone in the morning.

It's been 33 1/2 hours since the servers reset on Christmas Eve Maintenance. 20 hours 40 minutes since "The Demolition". Many of us here in The Mists have long ago lost our minds. We've been here since the beginning. As soon as the servers were back up, we were here We patiently waited for the Reclamation. We watched it. We waited, weary and excited, and approached the placards when it was over, funded and ready to make our purchase, to provide a home for our toons. We clicked. . . and were knocked back stunned that "Housing Functions are Locked". And so it began. Toon by Toon, Plot by Plot, Ward by Ward. Word spread. Some came by with cheer and encouragement. Some came by to scavenge the leavings of those that had fallen. But we fight on. We will overcome the Placard Demon Boss. We Will obtain the homes we were promised. We have sacrificed sleep, our health, our families, our Holiday for what we were promised by the Evil Overlord Square Enix. The Housingsong Wars will be won by the people, for the people. Never give up. VICTORY or DEATH!!!!

It's... really difficult to enforce such things.
It might be a bit easier on Jenova since it's a small server and if someone unsavory did something as such, news would spread very quickly, but...
Reinforcing reservation? Naahhh. Nothing that doesn't cross into harrassment.

Still, I appreciate this idea. More than likely people will realize SE is just taking their sweet time and just... chill a bit. I've already seen less and less people.
This list may not even be seen by most of the server; the Jenova boards in this forum were pretty dead, weren't they?

I've been perched here a while. Everyone's pretty awesome and I guess since my plot of choice isn't that great, there hasn't been much fighting. Just little sneakers trying to get it and running off.

My Husband (Arcturus Canopis) and I have been camping in The Mists, Ward 5, Plot 17 since the beginning. We are still camping, and will continue to do so until this issue is resolved. Luckily I don't have to return to work until after the New Year, so we can take shifts and catch catnaps. Doesn't do much for togetherness in the game tho. I doubt SE will honor such reservations, but. . . let's hope!
