True but there not set time when best to check, cause if nothing changed then maintenance changes the reclaim time everytime.
You mean except for the part where they specifically stated that in the next few patches they'll be adding new wards and creating apartment style housing? Don't know the details as to what the apartments will amount to yet, but new wards in the three cities are supposed to be coming soon.Kinda funny how a few months ago a lot people were mad that airships were locked behind FCs and wanted more housing and the only thing SE did was sweep the issue underneath the rug and a few players (myself included) all stated how the upcoming purge wasn't going to solve anything and yet here we are again housing crisis 3.0 and SE not apparently doing anything for the issue.
I'm all for them adding the apartment style housing to the game, but I still think it's not addressing the issue that exists with housing. I'm taking it as a sign that they realized housing as it is can not be sustained on their budget to meet the demands of the player base, and that we shouldn't ever expect enough homes for people who want them. At least by adding the apartments though, they're giving players a place to call their own, even if it isn't a full home.
In older MMOs, such as Ultima Online, there was a house maintenance fee you had to pay weekly, but in FFXIV: ARR we decided against this system. Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
