Deep breaths, mate. I didn't get a house today either despite standing and waiting in front of one owned by a guild populated by a level 1 and level 6 character (not even high enough to have retainers and be someone's mule alts) that was founded in 2013--that never got demolished. There's like 5 other people who were there with me. If one of us had gotten it I'd be happier than I am now (even if it weren't me), and I'll admit a little annoyance at this house that's clearly not being used for anything remaining.

But, damn, man. There's going to be constant churn now and there's new wards coming in 3.3. Just check the wards through the main aetheryte every now and again, and, if nothing else, when the new wards come you'll get another chance. It'll be okay.

Worst case scenario, and you never get a house? It's just a game. We play it to relax and have fun. No need to take it so seriously.

Housing is disgusting right now and Personal Housing SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED when it was not ready to come in the game yet. People on servers have FCs with 50-100 people in them and they have to suffer from not owning an FC house because all the plots on all the wards are full, while there are about 50-60% plots owned by people with personal houses. Changing servers isn't an option for people with an FC like mine with 80 players in it.

I think the underlying message SE is trying to send is not to even bother with housing, unless you play on a low pop server. High pop legacy? New player? You can forget it. Inserting new spaces in Ishgard housing will just be a repeat of the same thing, until the core issues are addressed.

We play it, yeah. We also stop playing it when you realize the only way you're getting what you wait is if you housewatch the every moment you're on the game. That or earn more gil or be like allot of players and buy gil. When a game sets up a perfect opportunity for a goal and players who have houses ruin the direct economy of it, its beyond upsetting. Yeah lets wait 4 months for this to happen again.

Stuff I suggested needs implemented. There is no need for housing to even be tradeable.

How housing was handled was terrible.

People BOUGHT the damn houses and now have party finder FULL of "WTS Small house in Goblet." Houses need to BIND on character, non-Transferable and allow a reclaim option to receive 80% back.

HOUSING SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BE TRADED. END OF STORY. ALTS SHOULD NOT be able to buy houses, but they SHOULD Have Equal access to an Alts House. This is ridiculous SE. Why did we wait outside of houses HOPING one would open? WHEN WE HAVE NO WAY TO KNOW IF SOMEONE HAS BEEN ACTIVE?! WHAT IS THAT?

I've honestly never been so aggravated at you SE. I EMBRACED the Relic grind, but this is just unfair.

You understand that what you want is exactly the way things are, right? You can't transfer a house from one character to another, but you can be given money to relinquish the land at a set time so that someone else can be ready to buy it immediately.

Why? It's not different than someone buying up items sold woefully undervalue and putting them right back on the market to gamble a profit.
