The housing problem will be solved by simply meeting the demand with more houses (as they are planning starting in 3.3), not by punishing those that already have access to the feature.

Q4: We have the auto reclamation this month, but can you please let us know about future addition of land?

A4: We have confirmed that we will be increasing the amount of land for existing housing areas in Patch 3.3. After this we’re planning to introduce mansion type housing, and housing in the Ishgard area. These two are being developed in parallel, but in order to meet everyone’s demand, we will implement the mansion-type housing as a first priority. Currently it’s being planned that one mansion will be able to hold 512 residences.

Fixed that for you. They have run the cash shop for awhile now. They have released an expansion pack. Have you seen anything that implies that the they will be able to provide for the current player base. How long have they been working on this? How many times have they failed to provide a decent system for the players to play in?

Not only that the MANSION, is probably a glorified Free company room. We already know it will not have outside space because they mention they have to fix gardening to make it work. I am sure someone with not much effort could post half a dozen housing fail comments.

They should have to sit in front of a camera and answer questions about the housing system like a corrupt politician. Instead of the fluff they give for live letters. We don't need to see fond memories. We need to see answers and why they have failed so horribly.

Lets not forget also they have promised that stuff at least 6 months roughly.

I'm curious, what would you like them to do beyond increasing the amount of houses avalible? My understanding is that the biggest complaint with the housing system is that the demand far outweighs the supply (which is at least a sign that the feature is designed well enough, that so many people want to join in). The answer to this is to increase the supply.

I would like to point out that a mansion in Japanese pretty much means small apartment.
