You can't find hardcore crafter friends, this was designed when the market-board first released. Cutdown, then you will get buyers and gil, all other sellers are enemies. Just that simple. However, now you guys think that SE want to change this fact simply by implementing a shit and lazy designed specialist system? This is a joke.
I guess my hardcore crafting friends are... imaginary then? I'm ARM/BSM/WVR (I chose them so I could craft Sky Pirate gear), a friend is CUL/GSM/LTW, another friend is ALC/GSM and has yet to choose a third, and yet another is making CRP/CUL/LTW. It's not difficult to make friends like this but it involves give as well as take. Maybe you just aren't looking hard enough. Maybe you're the problem here. If you aren't willing to concede some things in order to work with people, then why would they want to work with you?

I play a lot with my PVE friends. But there is no friendship between hardcore crafters. Moreover, specialist will never make crafters become more social. For instance, some supporters claimed that they liked the specialist system, which made they earn lots of gil and they didn't need to compete with others. However, I don't believe that they were selling ALC HQ with another ARM specialist crafter. I don't believe that they can find another hardcore crafter who is willing to be just ARM specialist and craft for they. We both know they, as a ALC specialist, can earn 5 times than ARM specialist.
I have a working relationship between all the crafters I associate with. If we happen to be selling the same item, I won't directly undercut them, and vice versa. If someone else undercuts one of us, it's fair game then. It's actually really nice to know that when it comes time to do my relic items, I won't have to wander far or pay someone an exorbitant amount to get the items I need.
