Recruitment Snafu?

Hi,

I recently got FFXIV from the Square-Enix humble bundle, and was given a recruit code by a friend upon telling her. I made a little blunder, though-- I registered my game license BEFORE entering the recruitment code, which seems to have locked out the latter. It isn't a huge deal, but is there any way to get around this-- am I overlooking something basic?

You need to register game licence to enter friend's code. But if you already added additional time, then that's that.
