Thread: A Holiday Poem by Lace Valeria

While /sitting in Idyllshire, procrastinating on queueing up for A1 for my 10th precision bolt, I thought up a holiday poem to entertain myself. Thought I'd share it in hopes that it makes others smile as well.

T'was the night before Christmas, and all through the 'shire,
not a single BRD was playing a melody upon their lyre
The MCH's hands were clean, the SMN's book was closed
and the WAR rested peacefully using /doze
The Gobbies milled about, speaking their funny words,
while in the Sea of Clouds, people danced with the Gundu birds
Calmly slept the dragons of the Forelands' Trine,
while hidden in the Twelveswood, the Moogles drank wine
All across the realm, there was joy and euphoria,
Another Starlight Festival had come to Eorzea
Even grumpy ol' Garlemald was peaceful and calm,
quiet as the Binding Coils, deep so many malms
To the starry skies, an AST turned her gaze,
wishing to all from her heart, "Happy Holidays"
