BTW, I find it hilarious you are complaining your "Weapon sucks" when you already had a great weapon available months ago, while jobs like WAR and SCH had shit-for-weapons and just now got a decent one.
I wish they'd fix Skill Speed. Almost every game with a haste stat and resource system correlate with each other, meaning haste always helps refill the resource not drag it down more. Prime examples are rogues/hunters/monks/DKs and demo locks in WoW, all of which can regain resource faster with more haste.
I really don't think you understand why it's not a problem for a weapon to have skillspeed and accuracy. You sound like you want all 13 pieces of gear to only have Crit and Det. So you'll attack super fuckin' slow and be lucky to hit anything. If you only want them to not be on weapons... Did you consider that for every point of accuracy and skill speed that's on the sword, that's a point of skill speed and accuracy you can forego from your head/body/hands/belt/legs/feet/shield/accessories?
you yourself think that WAR and SCH had trash weapons before and just got a good one, that means you supported my point, there're trash weapons with bad secondary stats. You shouldn't want a stat completely erased from a game. If you seriously do then you're already proving that you do not know much about how DPS works. SS is a bad stat if there is too much of it for certain classes. You still need a certain amount of it for DRG for your dmg to even be any good; however, having more that the tested amount becomes useless. This is how all games have worked. The SS stat does need more work but the team either doesn't know how to do it or doesn't care since they are already getting our money.
I have never understood the gripe about stats on gear. Just work your other pieces around to find what works best. The best gear setups involve all stats somehow anyways, and in the end the true dps comes mainly from how well you execute your rotation and time your abilities, if you can do that at the top level the dps difference is going to be pretty minimal. Theres enough things that can give you tp back if you really need it also if that's the worry, its not like you fight raid bosses alone and run out of tp.
