Hunt idea to help more people obtain credit

This idea won't benefit me much, since I am fortunate enough to have a solid state drive. However, there are lots of users who don't and take time to zone so by the time they get there the hunt is already done and dusted since there are some people who decide to pull as soon as they get there. My suggestion would be for the hunt not to be able to be attacked until atleast one player has been in the vicinity for 90 seconds. This could be called a hunt zone and have a timer in the corner. That gives plenty of time for players to be able to communicate the hunt location to people with slower storage hardware. I know these hunt mobs aggro so maybe that also could be changed and the b ranks could aggro instead.

I started using a flash drive actually. Office Depot had the Lexar USB3 ones marked down the week of Thanksgiving. Nabbed a 128GB one for ~$28 with tax. Bugger clocks in at 125-150mb/sec depending on read strategy (sequential,,random.etc). The hard drive hovers around the 100mb mark by comparison.

Cheap, easy update. Moved the foldes over and changed the shortcut. Was a real win-win for me. 6 seconds or less load times, no longer have that massive chunk of data in my backup set, and it is completely portable across my systems now--no more mass synching(just profile folder now) or double patching after the updates.

That is probably faster than HDD but USB 3.0 for external flash drive will be more limited than SSD running on SATA III. The point is maybe there are things that can be done to make it equal for those lesser hardware.

They aren't likely to recode how the zone works though for hunts. These things are more like the fad of the month. Just a matter of time before they become less aggressively done again.

We've gone through the cycle several times already. And there are steps that can be taken by the end user to help reduce or flat out avoid the load times. One such course of action is hardware updates like an SSD or as I did, a faster flash drive just for the game itself. There are also in game options that can be considered as well--configuration, strategy (like following a tracker and such to better plan, etc).
