    Custom Color "Glow" To Hotbars

I'm a controller player. Swapping sets is a piece of cake, but remembering what set you're on after dodging AoEs and mechanics isn't as easy as keyboard/mouse people. Sometimes we need four sets just to keep everything organized.

It'd be awesome if each hotbar/crossbar had a faint "glow" to them with preselect colors. So if I'm a DRK and I need to stop DPSing and start tanking, I can quickly glance down to see a "red glow" color around my buttons knowing I'm on my DPS#2 AOE bar, so I can swap to to my "blue glow" color and focus more on what's happening in the battle.

For the sake of accessibility, it would have to have some other visual indicator rather than just a color glow. Perhaps a "hard glow" and "soft glow" option. Different borders with effects kind of like comic word bubbles (jagged edges, round edges, dotted outlines, etc).

    Another controller player here.
i use a couple of custom macros to switch between hot bars.
If the icon is an arrow pointing down, im on hotbar 1. If its pointing up im on hotbar 2.

    You're using hotbard wrong.
    Use extended hotbars. (Hotbar 2)
Have only hotbar 1 and 3 active when you have your weapon drawn.
Put the TWO or THREE skills that don't fit on the 32 slots on the 3rd hotbar.
This way, you use hotbar 1 and hotbar 2 (extended) almost all the time, tapping R1 once to get to hotbar 3 (hotbar 2 being disabled when weapon is drawn, only accessible by using the extended controls or R1+circle).
This is the correct way, and it will solve your problems.

2 bars sheathed, 2 bars unsheathed for in battle. The only class I can't fit every single thing I want (on my unsheathed hotbars) is on SCH.With expanded hotbars you get 32 slots, which happens to be just enough to fit everything, and i dont even use everything. =D

Most non-pet jobs can fit their basic combat skills onto just the first crossbar plus expanded crossbar, but some players like to have more than the bare minimum (with extra slots for macros, target marking, etc.). Between that and the jobs that do have the extra commands for controlling their pets, there's reason enough for at least some players to be swapping between multiple main bars.

Anything that improves clarity in those cases would be a good improvement, even if it is possible to just avoid that situation in many cases, so I like this suggestion.
