AntiTower Speculation

I really liked seeing his development from a Garlean underling to something of a hero by the end of Crystal Tower. (He went in there for selfish reasons, but he did save Doga and Unei's lives in the World of Darkness.)

That he went there for selfish reasons makes him all the more interesting. We, as Warrior of Light and purest pure purity in all of Eorzea, tend to deal with a lot of "pure good" allies. Even Estinien and Ysayle are pretty far into the "good" spectrum. So when we have more ambiguous allies, it's a breath of fresh air.

I can't wait for more Nero. He's now easily my favorite side character.

He's mine only because my actual favorites were merely sacrifices for his character development. He has a lot to live up to.

Not what I expected but I'm very pleasantly surprised about this "knightly/fantasy" theme. Kinda reminds me of Kingdom Hearts/Disney but with a more FF-Flair. It did had hints of the Hinterlands BGM so a certain Witch might have the entrance in her Cave.. maybe in a book?.. Who knows

So we have a Shalayan structure dedicated to studying the Mothercrystal. This might actually be the first time we see an actual scholarly assessment of the nature of the Mothercrystal.

Interesting. It's very clearly inspired by Ipsen's Tower from FFIX...which just so happens to be my favourite FF game after FFXII. I'm quite pleased!
