Help needed on melding.

I have been overmelding my crafting gear and ran out of material. I went to the MB to buy some more, bought some, but now my gear I'm trying to overmeld isn't showing up no matter what gear it is or class I'm in.

Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Do you have the carbonized matter?

yes of course. it wont even acknowledge I have the gear.

Oh like the gear doesn't appear in the list? did you check all tabs like inventory/equipped/body/ etc

yes and oddly enough only shows my gathering gear, not my crafting.

the only time i have seen gear not appear is when it is already maxed with the 5 melds, if its not that then i have no idea

Make sure it's tabbed to the right location.

When in doubt, restart your client.

Did you equip it while melding? It then would be in different tab than gathering gear.
