They will announce it at a later date.

Probably ease of getting a venue. I go strictly for the fanfest itself, so I'm looking forward to it again.

Yeah, plus Vegas is the #1 destination in the US for conventions. Plus they chose a pretty darn good venue this time to make it hopefully more enjoyable for those that stay on the strip.
I was really hoping they'd tell us pricing/when tickets would go on sale. XD

Can someone tell me what to expect, exactly? Going to Frankfurt would be really easy, but I am not sure about anything. Except COSPLAYERS EVERYWHERE.
And how much was the ticket for Las Vegas last time?![]()

The base ticket was $120. There was a small chance of getting an optional VIP upgrade for another $80, but the upgrades were sold out in 30 seconds when they went live.
Amusingly, although it did not seem to be so at the time, the Fanfest crowd managed to completely DDoS poor EventBrite when the tickets first dropped. It was so bad they had to retool their entire back end to survive 3000 people hammering it all at once.
As to what to expect: Lines. Very long lines.
For the Early Registration, was that when you register the tickets you got already? I got slightly confused on that >.>The base ticket was $120. There was a small chance of getting an optional VIP upgrade for another $80, but the upgrades were sold out in 30 seconds when they went live.

As someone else said before me, lines, lines and even more lines. 3+ hours of lines. And this may just have been because of it being their first one but there wasn't...like, anything to do. Like, three major events and some long panels where honestly it was just Koji and his group messing around rather than saying anything important.
On top of that, if you actually want INFO about the new stuff to be released, the NA one is not it. The NA one got practically nothing about new content. A hint about Dark Knight from a Batman shirt. Europe got a lot more. Japan EVEN MORE than that. Basically, everything cool will be at the JP one. NA one is just where Koji and the forum mods joke around while everyone else waits in line.
