Thread: highdea: could Unukalhai be a messenger of Hydaelyn?

Unlike the Ascians throwing us into the danger of a Primal threat he informs the WOL and understands the dangers of their existence, threatening races and absorbing aether in droves.

Also, though he comes across aesthetically like Ascians, mostly Elidibus, his mask bares no homage/allegiance to that of Zodiark. Lastly, like Elidibus his welcoming comes from a Scion friend, Urianger, instead of a provoked introduction. It all seems to rhyme symbolically yet they both hold a systematic purpose behind their goals, one to bring rise and acting as a herald to a god and another to nullify a threat(s) and this will also prolong Zodiarc's likely inevitable coming.

I really doubt it, considering the name Unukahai is a name of a star in Serpentarius/Ophiuchus, which Elidibus is also clearly related to (FFT, thirteenth named Ascian and not of the traditional 12 Astrological signs, so on).

I'm staying with totally-not-Elidibus-or-Elidibus'-servant until further notice.

Um, wrong constellation. Unukahai is a star in the Serpens constellation, not Ophichus. The snake and the guy holding it are two different constellations.

Of course this detail does nothing to deny the association with Elidibus

Point of order, Ophiuchus (The Serpent Bearer) intersects Serpens (The Serpent).

I think if he was a messenger of Hydaelyn, then when we first saw him Elidibus would of been. More like "Sheath thy weapon Warrior of Light, for he is an ally blessed by Hydaelyn herself" rather than "Stay your Weapon Warrior of Light, he is not an enemy, least not for the moment."

So Urianger is certainly not fond of working with him.
