FF8 Outfits

I'm just happy to see the Zidane outfit tbh, I think FF9 fits far better into the world than FF8 (now I can't decide to glam my NIN as the FFXI event gear or zidane >.>)

All I would request really is weapon glamours, as they would fit far better:

- Zell's Metal Knuckle/Ehrgeiz as MNK (all the MNKs screaming YES I WANT GLOVES)
- Irvines Valiant/Exeter for MCH
- Squall's Revolver/Lionheart for PLD/DRK (maybe squall for PLD, seifer for DRK?)
- Ward's Harpoon for DRG
- Kiros's Katal for NIN
- somehow turn Rinoa's Cardinal into a BRD bow?

other than that, I would only really want the Edea/Seifers outfit, as the rest of the outfits look far too modern for this kind of world.

That kind of depends actually. If we're talking Gridania/Limsa/Ul'dah/Ishgard, then yes. Most of the FFVIII outfits would look a little out of place. Yet, if we're talking FFXIV in general than it wouldn't be that unusual. Fitting in with the world of FFXIV, FFVIII threads would most likely be inspired by our neighbors in Garlamald. The more technologically savvy Empire seem to have a more modern aesthetic to them as it is, and they already use gunblades. Even Cid's Ironworks designs had a more "future tech" kind of look to them. So, I think that would work out.

Personally, I'd like to see the SeeD official uniforms (male and female) from either the standard or Whtie SeeD set for all characters. Laguna's outfit/hair would be cool ... oh, maybe Ward's outfit for crafters? That would be a nice fit.

I'd spend a month grinding in Gold Saucer for that Glamour. That pluss the duster and Hat would be the ultimate MCH Glamour.

I think putting it in Gold Saucer will help make it more populated again & putting it in the cash shop would kinda be a slap in the face.

I'd much rather this was done either via Veteran Rewards or through a series of Quests from a cross-over event. Event being more likely.

Not sure which VIII outfit I'd like in the game, if any. It wasn't one of my favorites. Also we already have a gunblade in-game, albeit more elegant than the type Squall uses... and neither Squall nor Seifer's fighting stances really match GLA / PLD or DRK. If you stretch it maybe, but...

The whole set is going to be called the Tantalus Set and is most likely going to be a Veteran Reward like the Cloud and Firion outfits.
