And I don't necessarily mean lying, but rather their (in)competence and outlook in general. Like another example is, how do you not foresee WM/GB being a damage loss (or barely breaking above) if it only boosts your damage by 20%, when auto attacks make up for roughly 22-24% at the time
Yeah, I think it's an issue of culture/translation in a lot of cases. I can't imagine Yoshi's original statements come off that way in Japanese given all the varying ways to express things with politeness--but there's often not a good way to render any of that in English, and so I can see why a lot of it would come across as disparaging to our ears. Personally I've never really felt bothered by any of it but I get why people might be.

Regarding WM/GB...I'll definitely give you the incompetence bit here. Both classes feel like they received a last minute restructuring (I know you talk about the previews for MCH a lot), and were thus very rushed, not receiving the testing they probably should have. I also suspect that on some level, they gauge class capability in ways that are different from the playerbase, and when it comes to raid content especially, I think they balance around item levels that are too high--but players care about balance most when item levels are lower. That's really one area of their testing in general that probably needs to be changed (and I suspect that it also had a lot to do with the overall tuning problems in Savage right now).
