A concern I have, it states that "This is the North American version of the art book released in Japan and Europe. It is not an imported item of the Japanese or European versions. "

What does this mean? What kind of differences? It says a similar thing for Art of Eorzea but everyone I've met has said that the JP and NA versions are the same. They have the same translations (both have japanese text and then English translations for some portions) but almost all of the artist comments on the actual art work remain untranslated.

Maybe that it was printed in NA, and not shipped as a finished book.

It only means that the NA version was printed in the USA and the pricetag on the back is in USD rather than yen. The contents are exactly the same as with the first artbook.

For the actual purchasing, there's also that it's bought and shipped from the US, so things like customs, currency exchange, etc., aren't a factor, and it's "fine print" letting you know that.

Did Yoshitaka Amano contribute to this? I have The Sky and Art of Eorzea, would definitely get this if his work is in it.
