When the weather changes right as I'm about to take a screenshot.
And I keep getting this annoying "error cannot read data" message when I try to move items out of my retainer's inventory. Also frequently get a "you can't sell that" warning when I try to sell (not soulbound/untradeable!) stuff my retainer just brought me on a venture and have to wait a few seconds before it'll actually let me sell it on the market board. Anyone else have that issue?
Then the issue where my enmity list sometimes just vanishes in the middle of combat (usually in alex 2) as if I've left combat, then repopulates a few seconds later. I was told this happens frequently by a few different people. Not sure if it's a bug or what.
I do it as whm so I can get to the line and start casting stoneskin II. By the time everyone catches up, most of my group members are usually in range of it.Also, in 24-man raids, I get this uncontrollable annoyance when I see people sprinting to the next lockout entrance to get to the line first. It just looks so immature, especially with multiple people doing it it, and they have to wait for everyone to get there anyway. It just looks like a bunch of kids all like... "Haha, race you to the finish line! I'm gonna wiiinnn!" Like omfg stop acting like goddam children. I can't explain it, but this annoys me more than it should :/
How does disliking the fact that parts of maps and signs are difficult to read equate to hating immersion?
I can't speak to the guy you're responding to, but I personally hate the font/characters they use in signs, and the fact that you have to zoom in really far to see location names in a readable font in the minimap. I have serious vision problems and already have to scale up my UI and font sizes to be able to read the normal fonts for everything else. The way the map is just makes things super irritating. It's mostly with the minimap (half the time I forget the bigger map is even there tbh >.>) but still.
If anything it breaks immersion because I'm stuck messing with zooming in and out to try to make out wtf the words actually are. I don't bother trying to read Eorzean writing anymore...it hurts my eyes. :/

On AS2 it's normal because mob's enmity resets so they disapear for a few seconds ^^

Yeah and I've been trying that but it doesn't work. I even freshly applied all dots and the target bar showed zero XD Well it works when I'm on my own, but as soon as others are hitting and dotting the same target it won't show mine. Do you mean I have a bug? If so I'll send a bug report.


I got a few, some are already repeated, and I've put my like where it was needed but will mention here again.
1- FATE music and notifications when not taking part of them. I just want to gather or fly around, tossing the "BANG BANG" with the subsequent error message of being 6 or more levels too high ain't gonna make me want to join it. You are ruining your own area theme and mount music. It's been more than two years now, we need to get rid of this. Also I'm gonna add the mob's aoe harming you while you're just passing by, if I'm not part of the fate why do you hate me D:
2- Manners. This not just bugs me but annoys me. How hard is it to say a simple hello when we all pop in a duty and are going to spend at least the next 20 minutes together? I'm not saying I want your babies, I just want to know I'm playing with you and not some bot, was going to say NPC but NPC at least have speech bubbles. Yeah we probably not going to see eachother again but still. Or answer when I ask something, SE is not going to charge you extra for it D: "I only talk and be nice if I want a commendation" >_> really?
3- Unnecessary incompatibility of jobs aka AST noct and SCH adlo to name one. Why make it so we have to choose one over the other? Why not merge them? Many people don't even notice that some cancel the other, and there really is no need for this. It won't break balance, just like two scholars don't break it. Just make the tougher one prevail if you really must. Or the ninja and warrior slashing debuff. Yeah it's there for a reason, but it also could be abolished and everything would be just fine.
4- As mentioned by me right before, the debuff icons on the target bar. Not functional, cannot filter own debuffs out of the two lines when repeated by another player, and focustarget completely ignores this. I want to see my debuffs :/ not interested in the other smns/schs fester base, unless I can bane/fester them too XD (but this I'm willing to accept if it's a bug hehe)
5- Cannot select specific duties to show on the list. This was fantastic in beta, and they got rid of it. Now we got "priority" >_> Still wold love to hide the new relic quest since it will be there for a while and display other quests instead without having to abandon. And don't come with server load or ps3 limitations SE, not gonna work now.
6- Battle music not possible to disable. Gets repetitive, annoying, again breaking your own wonderful area themes. If I can disable the mount music, why not the battle music too? This was a thing even back then in FF11.
These last two are about the general inconsistency of the programmers:
7- GC mutliple hand-ins versus leve hand-ins: how is it possible that I can (finally, that took them quiet a bit too) hand in all my leves and in the end it will play the fanfare and display the big yellow "LEVEQUEST COMPLETE", while on GC hand-ins, and if unlucky, you have like 15 dungeon drops to get rid of, it will spam on EVERY SINGLE item the fanfare and big letters, which also wont stop if you zone? How can you guys (as in SE) not make it consistent and apply it to everything similar? This is so damn horrible.
8- The above applies to dungeon music. You've done it right after some time with Pharos' dungeon theme. You realized it's an awesome piece and made it to play the enitre dungeon. Grats. It took again some time to realize, but you did it. Now, one would have thought this would apply to Haukke, or any other dungeon with a main theme. Right? Nope. Do you need a request for each of the dungeons? Can't this be a general thing? Do you not have like a basic rule sheet for your programmers? Maybe something along the lines of "ok guys we got this new dungeon and this guy composed an awesome theme for it, what should we do?" - "dunno man, its a dungeon main theme you say? hmmm let's just play it at start while they all load in and then just go on with the battle music throughout" /shrug

Are you in a 24 man when this happens? You can set it to only see your dots but in 24 man's even if you have that setting there are still only allowed like 60 dots show able on a boss at a time, which sucks, I experience not being able to see my buffs on bard when I do void ark a lot. There is no fix for it, it's just yet another limitation for whatever reason.Yeah and I've been trying that but it doesn't work.
