Where is the new android app mentioned months ago?

I think it was back in june SE made a post on the lodestone about how certain features would be discontinued in the Libra Eorzea app in preparation for a move to a new app. The new app is supposed to allow us to engage in FC chat while on the go, from our phones, among other things not offered in the current app. Where is this thing? There has been no news on it. Anyone know of some updates?

Wondering the same thing. Still can't log in on libra eorzea since they said those features would be moving to a new app. If you believe the rumors SE has cut a lot funding for xiv and is taking the money made from this and using it on other games. So that may be what caused the app to get stuck in purgatory.

An excellent question. That new app was promised - ages ago, and since then there's only been absolute silence. Except for the removal of features from Libra Eorzea, to make it even ... less of anything else but an item database (of which xivdb is doing a better job btw if you ask me). Does anyone even use Libra Eorzea at all? @_@

It was introduced along with FC Primal Summoning & FC Alliances... You just missed it. ;p

I know only about that Portal app that lets you play Triple Triad or Record Keeper but isn't related to FFXIV at all.

appreciate the replies. I guess we just sit around and see what happens. I know sometimes the development of mobile apps like this can be contracted out to a company that specializes in app development. Im not sure if SE was developing themselves or had contracted it, either way its been complete silence.
