Anima weapon lore

Bumping for relevance! After completing your 230 relic, we get this gem from the Anima itself:

So warm...
At last I feel...myself. You would share your aether─the very essence of your being─to support me?
Then I, in turn, shall do all that I can to support you, going wheresoever you go, even unto the farthest reaches of the realm. If, that is, you will you take me as your companion...?

To reiterate on what happened in the previous quests, the Anima had sentience, but lacked the ability to speak coherently. Likewise, only the Warrior of Light can see and speak with the Anima being due to their abilities with the Echo. Ardashir speculates that if they keep feeding aether to the Anima, it can become strong enough to be more self aware and be able to communicate with non-Echo people.

So now we have an aetherial being that wants to help us in exchange for maintaining its form with our own essence. Give and take.
