i'd like to add to this list that the shield that comes with Amlace: Ancile, is derived from Ancilla, twelve shields kept in the temple of mars.

and tetrabiblos supposedly means "four parts." it was a text on astrology, if wikipedia is to be believed.

It make sense. Parties have to know what jobs can benefit the most form the Astrologian's cards and that is an aspect of strategy and tactics, both things being the Scholar's niche of knowedge, thus the Scholars would want to know how the cards work to help use them effectively
