Relic - Kingcakes HQ for free.

I'm offering to craft the fuKingCakes HQ for free to anyone bringing the mats, which are as follow : (the price indicated at the end is the current price on Moogle's marketboard)

1 x Moogle Miniature (currently 200k)
1 x Highland flour (or 5 highland wheats) 3k
1 x Yak milk (Kill yaks in Western Coerthas)
1 x Okeanis Egg (kill Okeanis in Drav. Hinterland)
1 x Birch syrup (or 3 Birch Sap)
1 x Tiny crown (purchasable from the NPC at the culinarian guild) 150 gils

Even though I can craft it from NQ, the quality reached that way is about 85%. So, I recommend you bring HQ mats, at least for the yak milk, the okeanis egg which are very easy to get. With those 2, I make it 100%.

The Moogle Miniature is the most expensive material (GSM Specialist) but I don't need it HQ, so if you have friends, you may want to have them craft a bunch of them.
(Moogle Mini requieres 5x Cotton Cloud Boll / 1 Black soil / 1 Dawnborne aethersand, and truly they are a piece of (king)cake to get)


I encourage crafters like me, who are aware of the absurdity of this quest and specifically the absurd prices, to contribute too, by offering their help for BSM / CAR and ALC items. Not every crafter in this game has become a crafter to make gils in the first place. (and definitely not everybody can afford a 16-items package at 8mil)

I will craft 4 HQ kingcakes per player, no more, no less. If your friends want some, they should contact me. This is simply to avoid players asking for 20, keeping 4 for themselves and selling the other 16 behind my back.

I always craft items for free if person provides the mats, I find it annoying when a crafter charges you if you giving them all the mats.

I think a lot of crafters share the same opinion as I do, and as Lexia does as well. I think they are a silent-mass for most of them though. Those who craft for others generously are typically not the ones you'll meet in cities shouting "selling X, 15m" or trying to sell seemingly "cheap" items when they are in fact uber-abusive.

It all depends ones your priorities at the time. I am the primary crafter for my FC and we have been toiling away at accruing enough Gil to purchase a house come Christmas day housing blow-out. Thus, I have been charging "top" dollar for my work in recent weeks. While, one year ago, when my FC was on a different server and our house already fully furnished. I would be doing the same magnanimous actions you are describing.

For sure i would like those hq items in my pocket but we decided (in our fc) that we will craft all of them by ourself.

I recently went back to craft 2 days ago (did not touch it since the beginning of HW) and so i'm just a new fresh CUL.
Ofc my fc mates helped me with stuffs ect..

So here the point : instead of asking you these hq items, i'm asking you if you could share your skills rotation.
I mean, it may help not only me but all who might begin aswell.

A website would be fine if it explains well what to do and why it goes that way (yeah i don't want to only know how to do it).

I too have recently been motivated to start crafting again in an attempt to make these Relic items more accessible to all. I was never a top tier 2.x crafter but did have all lvl50 crafts. I was far too scared to do anything above 1* items! A rotation for end level crafting in Heavensward would be marvellous. =)

It doesn't explain the whys or hows, but at least it gives the requierements and a few pointers.


Before you start using it, be aware that some of the skills may have to be switched (HT <--> touch) depending on your own CP, or depending on what skills you already have.
Also, before using it, read all the skills description carefully and understand them fully. It won't be useful just for this craft but for every craft you will do at this level or higher in the future.

If some of the skills seems to have a poor description, that's probably because it's the case. (some are really unclear in my own language - french). In this case, you should ask the english crafting community a better explanation for them, as they will probably give you the "rightest" explanation for them, unlike me, as I'm not an english native.

Many thanks! I'm teaming up with a friend & we're ensuring we don't both clash Souls (of the Crafter) so we have 6 covered. That should be a bonus to help us along as we can trade the more difficult things. I understand that Soul makes crafts for that job easier.
