bringing up the dreaded pronunciation debate

    *puts out the koji signal*

Once again the Mhach are on my mind. How should it be pronounced. So I turn to the one possible language root for this: Gaelic. and not since days playing Changeling the Dreaming have I had to deal with the odd way things are pronounced in Gaelic. some links below:
    http://www.standingstones.com/gaelpron.html
    http://www.cuhwc.org.uk/page/unoffic...ouncing-gaelic

So if we can get some clarification or hell even a japanese pronounciation of the word. I'm think that Mhach/Mhachi, is actually pronounced as Vak/Vakee.

Okay then. that's what I'll do. I'll tell you a story. Can you hear them? All these people who lived in terror of you and your judgement. All these people who's ancestors devoted themselves to you, sacrificed themselves to you. Can you hear them singing?

If it is Gaelic-inspired (which I feel is VERY likely, considering the fact that we have Cait Sith, Cú Chulainn, and Scathach introduced with Void Ark, and those are all Celtic mythological figures), "Mhach" would actually be pronounced [vah] or [vach] with the [ch] pronounced as it would be in German. (Phonetic transcriptions: /va/ or /vax/ ) "Mhachi" would probably be the same only with [ee] at the end of it and a [h] before that (/va.hi/ or vax.hi/).

One of the first thoughts I had about the real-life inspiration for Mhach, upon catching all the other Celtic references, was that it was inspired by the city of Emain Macha.

Mhach's katakana is "マハ" (Ma Ha) so it could very well be related to Macha.
