    The Xp and the PL problem are not "Fixed"

    Lets see how many people think that's correct and how many think it's not..

    Xp on Pl's you can still hit almost 1k xp.
    Xp in parties 1k as well..

    Do you really think making it from 1-40 in 4 days is how it should be?
    Do you really think that being able to be PL'd like it is where you don't even have to be there is a good thing?

    If so then FFS make it so you can PL DOH and DOL too..

    I mean if your going to sandbox the shit out of leveling DOW and DOM you might as well sandbox the shit out of the rest of the game..
    How fun you think it's going to be for starting crafters when not a single person will buy there low level stuff to fund their continuance of leveling or their desire even to level?
    We will have all rank 50 gear and nothing else..
    This is so full of fail and it bugs me in the most practically obvious way to see how ok with it so many people are..

    On a side note: You remember 2 worlds? people hacked it to death the first day, multiplying items and giving away god gear to new players..
    Would you of been one of those people?

    Another sucky thing about this is even if you don't want to take advantage of a messed up system, your kind of forced to. Because if u don't, you simply get passed up.
    So basically everyone is forced to speed level to 50 before you fix this or get left behind..

    I must say I was astonished when I got from level 46-49 pugilist in less than 3 hours from xp chaining amaljaa camp near broken water...that's too fast.

    Now whenever I reach level 50 on DoW I'll think "nothing special about reaching the cap, anyone can do it within a couple days now". I'd like my leveling not to be like 6 months non-stop FFXI grind parties, but it should take a fair amount of time and actually make you feel like it took some effort.

    Gimp xp gain rate plz.

    I am tired of the complainers about the "excessive" XP rates. Have any of you EVER thought about what the grind would be like if the cap were at level 75? Think about the progression beyond the cap for once...we may get a level cap raise after 2.0 hits.

    At the current XP gain rate, it would probably take the average casual player to get to 75 in about two to six months, depending on the amount of time played per month.

    I understand your point and accept it in partial truth.

    My rebuttal:
    lv 1-50 in a week is too fast.

    you guys really think 75 is the next cap?
    try more like 60


    but yeah, adjusting the exp rate now is probly needed(it is a bit high, i still say the link bonus is the main issue, it still dont make sense you get more for it then chaining)

    also, they need to raise the exp per level after 50 exponentialy if it stays as is(110k for 51 isnt enough by far, try 200k at the least, and the 300k and so on for a good ammount of progress)

    it is unacceptable for a full level at endgame to be earnable in a single hour

    so yes, exponential increase, or a lowering of exp rates in general

    power leveling isnt the issue as you may think it is

    OP: If this is a problem, it is not really a P/L problem. At level 38, I can solo and get 400 exp per kill. If P/L raises that to 1k, then it is not an excessive jump. Maybe you could argue that experience gains are too high across the board, but that would not be limited to P/L.
