Give them your money!!! (Also, how to properly post.)

OMG you're all being so dumb! This game is the best ever!!!!! You need to give SE your money and you need to do it NOW! You all should think like I do and should be throwing $100 bills at XIV!!

    ...

For those of you who read this far, thank you. If you are one of the people saying that "This game sucks, don't give SE your money, blah blah blah", this is exactly how you sound, only on the opposite end of the opinion. You truly sound this ridiculous with your anti-payment posts.

Now, am I saying you shouldn't have anti-payment posts? Of course not. By all means, if you're unhappy with it, say so. But do so respectfully and properly.

"I am not enjoying the game enough to pay for it." is a respectable and understandable means of doing so.

"SE DOESN'T DESREVE MY MONEY AND UR ALL FANBOYS FOR PAYING THEM" is not the correct way of doing so.

Likewise, "I'm having a lot of fun with the game and I'll pay the fee to continue having fun." is the proper way to express that you intent do subscribe.

Not "lolz later! your opinion sucks!"

You need to understand how to properly express your opinion without trampling on other people's.

"Everyone should agree with me" posts are dumb and childish, for BOTH sides of the argument.

Pay, don't pay, take a break, come back later, quit altogether, it really doesn't matter. I really don't care which option you choose.

But be intelligent about your HOW you post your opinion and choice.

5/10 - I agree on the respect end, but I think you miss the real problem with all these posts.

Saying "I'm having fun with this game and will pay" or "I don't like this game enough to pay" are pointless posts regardless of how respectfully you word them. Talk about specific aspects you like or dislike, fine, but what good does it do to say "they shouldn't be charging yet, I'm leaving"? It's either a troll post or a self-important rant.

Want to let SE know you're not going to pay yet? Go ahead, send them an e-mail. Don't flood the forums with your crying because you want the entire community to know you're not going to be playing in two months. Nobody cares that you're leaving, they're just using your thread as an excuse for their own self-important rant or trolling.

Also, unnecessary intro - your respectful post is at odds with your first troll paragraph. There are better ways to get someone's attention.

Indeed, and I agree with you. However, it's more likely to get people to change HOW they post something rather than getting them to not post it all together.

If they are going to post a pointless post anyways, let's at least see if they can do so where it isn't going to degrade into a flamewar within the first three pages and if we can get a reasonably intelligent thought out of it.
