No, but it makes me WANT to die.
Look, my advice is always to get a story party going for CM and Prae. Minimum ilvl sync. Makes shit a lot more fun than it ever was in ARR.

All of what Ashkendor said.
If you expect 7 other people with varying objectives and responsibilities and or obligations to wait on you... you won't find any pity in DF. If you want to experience cut scenes and other things for a first time run through with people who are willing to wait, look to your FC or use PF with the explicit explanation that it is a first time run through with cut scenes. If your FC has no one willing to help you, I'd suggest looking for a new FC.
There is even an option for you to select with something along the lines of cut scenes watching/story focused when using PF. The other option as stated before, inn room.
I'm sorry that you had a poor experience for your first run through. I'm sorry you feel invalidated on your class because you're a healer and the overgeared zerg rush didn't need you to help. None of your reasons make you entitled to 7 other people's time because you demand closure for yourself - that's called slavery.

it's a pity they don't have 2 options for the last 2 MSQ
1:- for new players who want to experience the whole thing and players who don't mind taking their time
2:- for any player who just want to blast through it.
both could have roulette options and same rewards .
option 1 I would imagin may have longer queue times, but would that matter to a player who takes their time and likes to watch every cutscene? for me that answer would be no it wouldn't matter
That's why I ran both those 8-man dungeons once (for both my characters) and after that never again. I mostly got funny groups but I just don't get the appeal of speed runs in Duty Finder.

except you seem to have forgotten the very reason for roulettes and rewards in the first instance. They aren't there for you to just blow through old content and collect your gil/tomes/whatever. They are there to assist newer players through content. If you're not prepared to make the trade-off, don't do it.
Rewards are there to get people into the content is why. Without them certian content would die and new players would have long, long, very long waits to get in. The cost is people playing efficently. If you're not prepared to make that trade off, don't do it.except you seem to have forgotten the very reason for roulettes and rewards in the first instance. then just have option 2 as the roulette option either way works for me I don't mind taking my time or rushing through now,but I do wish there was an option for first timers to have there own queue option so they can enjoy the whole dungeon experience,it's not the same going to your inn room and watching the cutscenes which I was told to do around launch time...except you seem to have forgotten the very reason for roulettes and rewards in the first instance. Watch ur CS in inn or just watch it there. Tbh this is so old topic already. You CANT force people to wait 30+ min for you only, and that +100 poetics aint worth the wait anyway. SE learned this mistake already, so lets just this go away, enjoy the game, play as you like.
Honestly. make a PT if you're into the whole CS. I'm sorry but after watching the cutscenes once or twice, i'm done with it. I don't like the way people do it now a days, But you can't expect people to wait for you to finish those long ass cutscenes.
I'm sorry your first experience was so bad. Mine was as well. I actually queued up the other day and it turned out 6 of the others were running an FC mate through Prae for the first time. I am always happy to help a new person go through these dungeons the "right" way at least once, so I didn't mind at all. They were happily surprised and I made some new friends from it, since it turned out they were from my server.
I think the current setup is very newbie unfriendly, though, since experienced players are only queuing in DF for these dungeons for a speedrun most of the time. If SE wants to maintain a game that is as story-focused on this, they will need to rethink this step, since you cannot complete the first part of the game without it. And the sort of bad experience you had could put someone off the game entirely.
