Have quite similar problem too. We have alex savage on farm, so we clear it in one evening, and have no reason to gather until reset.

And if you recommend other games, can you recommend something? We may try it and possibly never come back after.

but what is the point on smashing our head on something where the "reward" is irrelevant ?

Well we are in the "catch up" phase of the game at the moment, where you can up your gear easier now that its more readily available through 24 man raids and hunting. With that in mind, there really is a lack of things to do with your static at this time, especially when it comes to meaningful gear upgrades.

Unless you are actively doing raids, statics will eventually run out of stuff to do. Until then, you can certainly find another game to play in the meantime with your static, its what me and my friends have been doing. The game is somewhat dry on content atm and the Diadem/Relic isn't exactly cutting the mustard/

Borderlands too.
League, maybe.
Anything like that. Don't forget about Battleborn, and Overwatch, too.
