I personally wouldn't mind, but be aware that this would invite backlash from more "casual" players (again, I hate to use that term, but it's convenient here). Some have never run any of the extreme mode primals, as seem to be there purely for the challenge. Outside of the mounts, even the weapon/accessory rewards were always just outside of the gear streamline (assuming it was raid gear>upgraded tome gear>24 man raid gear>base tome gear).

I agree that many players need to push their limits in order to grow, but throwing them into extreme modes would only shine a spotlight on the skill gaps between players, and at worse, only divide them further. Those who can will only seek each other out, and those who can't will hold SE/those who can at fault for their inability to progress. It sounds wrong, but I say this from having literally seen it happen. Don't get me wrong, I do think it's a good idea, but I'm aware of its downsides.
