Glad I stumbled upon that amber encased viken tip. It helps a bunch. I always seem to have enough sand but not enough Umbrite.

Sadly umbrite is literally locked behind 300 eso per, I feel like they could have easily done one for like 600 poetics or something as well as another alternative.

120/240, I had an exam month, otherwise I would be probably done by now but it is still going quite fast. I already have i240 weapon so I don't feel like rushing it anyways. I really like this step, it is much better than the previous one.

I agree. A daily quest with the expert roulette would have been nice.

Yeah like even if it was just giving you one a day, on top of the others you get during the week it would add up nicely without breaking the speed at which you get it.

So far most of my crystal sands have come from gathering though I should really get the 99 folklore books :s got like 90+ allowances but trying to level Alch to 60...so vilekins may have to wait xD

Although 450 poetics gets me 1 sand as well.

I can't believe they didn't implement it. Daily for an Umbrite, and still leave additional Umbrite's purchasable through tomes, exactly like Alex maps. They copied the original ARR relic steps for the heavensward ones why stop now >_>

I'm kinda upset that since Umbrite is a "stone" item I can't mine them. When I definitely should be able to.

Just got my WHM to 50 and started grinding the FATEs for Luminous Crystals while leveling up. I almost fell asleep to the regular monotonous Stone II sound effect that just goes on and on and on...I wish WHM could get a proc to break up the monotony. Something similar to the BLM's Thunderclap or Firestarter. Anything to keep me awake when spamming those Stone I/II/IIIs...

Anyways, went from Lv 50 @ 300k EXP to 700k EXP for the 3 Luminous Crystals in Coerthas Western Highlands. At this buffed drop rate, I'll probably get 6-9 crystals per level of FATE grinding from 51-59. It's definitely a good drop rate.
