Relic: Your progress on the Grind.

Its not really the tokens most people struggle with its the 16 HQ items that on some servers can be really hard to obtain compared to other servers, for example it would cost me a total of 6mil for my relic, or the money needed to meld my Botanist enough to gather diadem mats in order to use and sell them for funds...

I decided to do the original relic quest and I've now been grinding fates for the days straight and no atmas. UGH!!! Is there a trial or secret I don't know about LOL. It shouldn't be this hard should it? I got two a week ago and none since.

I gave in and joined the grind since I snagged all the HQ items for about 700k so I'm at 40/80 tokens and 2/5 oils.

It's fun to run the CT series again anyway and there always seems to be a poetics bonus in them.

Got my Hyperconductive Nothung over the weekend I also got my MCH to l60 and I'm feeling a bit sad as now both of these big things have come to an end and I now cast about for something else to do. Apart from Lore grinding it looks like I'll just be leveling up my rogue. I could work on my healing classes as well but healing is scary town

I stopped at ilvl200 relic, and threw them(2) away and replaced them with way more easyer to get ilvl210 Eso weaps!
They will do it again(I can wait till Lore-tome weaps are easy to get also) <.< Relics are big waste of time in my opinion!

I mean, if you don't care about the enormous difference in stats and sheer weapon damage between i210 and i230 I guess that's completely up to you but there's really no comparison between a Hyperconductive relic and an Esoterics weapon at this point. Relic is better in every way. By the time Lore weapons get nerfed, we'll have i240+ for relic weapons. I personally don't play this game to be months behind everyone else in progression, so I'm 4/5 on my second Hyperconductive relic. I'll probably finish it with today's roulettes and start the new one with the CT weekly for the new week! I'm at 20/20/13/15 for the fourth i210 as well. Using the eso elsewhere really slowed me down because I'm exclusively using beast tribe dailies and hunts for these now.

I have my 210 Relic and I'm currently 4/5 on the oils required to upgrade it. But the Lore weapon is better stats wise for my Job so I am not in any rush for it. I'm only upgrading it because it will at some point be BiS and will have customizable stats.

16/80, started late but I'm ok with it because I am still on the dungeon phase and prepping the i230 stage at the same time. Since I can work on multiple stages at once this time I am ok with there being an occasional wall, will feel real nice when I break it then skip the next step.

IMO Relic is a good way to go - getting the 210 was very easy to do casually since its drop and the 230 upgrade is incredibly quick and painless.

That said, the Lore weapons already are easy to get. If you were going for one, you should have got it this week 0.o
