Not a single ban even though most of those were in the section literally made for giving criticism and feedback on the game

7k posts on the Official PlayStation forums.

Once again, most posts I make is criticizing the games or the hardware Sony made. Never a single ban, even won an award in 2010. IIRC I had one post removed which was because the video I embedded had offensive language within it.

Could jump over to the StarCraft battle.net forums if you want me too to. I love taking part in the game communities, and the most likely way to get yourself heard is via official channels, but not for FFXIV, the community around here is awful as, as mentioned before, if you criticize the game at all the white knights come at, ignore your post pretty much entirely, tell you to unsub and stop being salty.

Probably started taking this seriously (I use that term loosely) about 2 weeks post update.

This is a product of daily roulettes and beastman dailies, with about 30 odd Alex runs in total. Really not that bad, bar the 3.5 million Gil shaped hole in my wallet.

Still think the crafting part of the quest is a kick in the ass - hoping the next steps won't be so Gil heavy.

Lol Reilyn I wouldn't bother criticizing the game on these forums, FFXIV has one of the most rabid white knight banbases I've ever seen. Any single criticism you make of the game design or content will be met with "UNSUB THEN" "STOP BEING SALTY" regardless of how well put together or how constructive your criticism actually is. And then if SE see you criticizing them they'll perm ban you like they did to my main char because they like the forums to be an echo chamber. Got perm banned in June last year for calling Squares handling of certain things incompetent.

I had my actual account permabanned too, and this is the only forum I've ever been permabanned from.

Sure, my post history wasn't the best, but of all the posts to permaban me over, it was the one where I called the action, and the 30+ upvote support of certain bards "childish, shameful, and disgusting" who willingly chose to never use wanderer's minuet in group content out of protest because 'they didn't want to be a BLM' instead of doing something constructive that doesn't grief their fellow players in group content, such as sending feedback to SE, or rerolling to a job they might like more. My 30+ upvoted post, and everyone who quoted in agreement was pruned and I was banned since. All of that after I healed for a 3-bard group that wiped to A1N enrage 3 times, one of them never used minuet, even with cooldowns active.

That'll teach me to try to better the community. A worse person would only become more jaded than I am right now.

Sorry, but this forum community, and forum moderation is actually among the worst I've seen across 6+ mmos in the past 8 years. The community is not toxic here sure, but there's alot of... well you know.

Finished first weapon yesterday without doing a single beastman quest (no achievements here) or alexander run (too boring). Spent most of the weekend in hunt parties to finish it off.

I'm at 20/80 so far.

I don't really want to grind Alex for anything other than gear. I've been doing Alex a lot today and I've run into a lot of bad healers who couldn't heal someone if they had a red arrow pointing to them while their health bar flashes red, people who refuse to follow game mechanics and kill everyone, and people who whine and quit after the first wipe, complaining that you can't fix stupid because that's what their doctor tells them.

Honestly after a full day of Alexander I think I'm done with pug Alexander groups.

31/80 here now. I'm a little nuts and decided to do another 2.0 relic spontaneously (mostly because I had 9 atma lying around and I got the last 3 in one very bored hour a few weeks back.) Relic books actually mesh well with beastman tribes, as there's usually one of the FATES in the areas and 1-2 of the mob groups.

My FC has also started regularly doing Dragonskin maps as a group. I got two extra ores from that over the weekend. Very helpful! We'll farm up our own for a couple of days, maybe buy a couple extras. Right now they're selling for 80K - if you get lucky and get an ore, that's well worth the investment.

Once I'm done being a very silly person, I'll tackle Alex to start bumping up the shells and bones. Seeds and ores just hit 10/10.

Dark Knight done, Ilevel 210 yaaaaaaaaaaay, 9/80 for DRG next, (literally getting just to be at the step for next step when its out when its hopefully not the worst weapon in existence.) Just Beast Tribes, daily roulette's, All tomes to items, a few Alex runs to get it finished, and a butt load of random trails to get poetics, (on point of Poetics why in gods name are they so difficult to get hold of!)

To be honest, all this contents done is given me as a nearly maxed player something to do in the morning. that's it, I did not find it enjoyable or interesting. Just kinda.... passed the time.
