Colored Chocobos w/abilities.

I am aware that this is something that most likely everyone has thought of. However since I used the searched feature and did not see the suggestion anywhere in the forum.

I'm starting this thread in hopes that the development team reads the idea and implements it.

What I am thinking does not only encompass different colors for chocobos but rather that each color have its own "ability" as in previous Final Fantasy Iterations. I can imagine a zone being introduced (in a future expansion perhaps) where traveling between small islands require you to walk on top of deep water, a situation where a Blue Chocobo, would provide accessibility. Similar content for the other colored chocobos.

A gold chocobo for instance could have a zone based on the sky, flying around (not only does it solve the flying mount problem, but introduces new mechanics into the game) in which you can "drop" (zone into) either Thanalan, The Black Shroud or La Noscea...

This would also help give it that Final Fantasy feel...

I am hoping this has not been brought on before, and would like to know everyone's thought on this.

Please keep in mind that I am not requesting it or implying they should add it within a year, rather after the game has been fully revamped; perhaps implement it as new content.
