Can we please for the Love of Hydaelyn....

Yes, I understand that Anima crystals is the new Atma fate grind. But this is freaking ridiculous!!!!!!! I have farmed fates in Western Coerthas since Wednesday, taking the obvious breaks for food, wc, etc. But I only have obtained 2 crystals. Whereas others I know achieved 2 sets of crystals entirely for their weapon upgrades. To me, it isn't fair whatsoever to force us through this unlucky bs. Then onto unbelievable amounts of items for another upgrade. I understand that part. But for 3 measly freaking crystals per zone shouldn't be slave work. This FATE system for gaining relic items is bs entirely, when some of us seriously slave ourselves just for 1 or 2 items after days of farming. The devs should realize that this is unjustly unfair, and seems more actual real life work than it is to be meant for fun. Fun is actually gaining things, not slaving to get things.

Edit: Can we have them slightly increase the drop rate percentage? Or is that too much to ask for?

We had the same problem with the atma stage of the original relic. The people that get lucky and clear it tend to just not care if other people have bad luck unfortunately. Their reasoning is usually that "you have the same odds so it's fair even if it takes you longer" or some rubbish like that. The relic quest should really take everyone roughly the same amount of played hours. When the RNG favours some people and dooms others it truly is unfair, even if the odds are the same.

I've advocated for 'smart' RNG in this game for years. Blizzard has had a lot of success with it in Diablo and WoW. To put it simply: every failed roll against RNG results in higher odds on the next attempt. After enough failures you're eventually guaranteed the drop. It's a scaling hard cap on RNG and this game desperately needs it.

I'd just knock another zeta, you probably could've finished one in the time it took you to get those two crystals. Personally o refuse to do another rng atma grind because of the first. It took me a month of straight grinding to see my second one when they came out. So considering there is an easy route that you didn't take no sympathy here. You gambled and lost that's it.

I'd love that, the one thing that bothers me the most about hunting crystals is that between drops, it's like there is no progress being made. Nothing's more disheartening then being at it for hours with absolutely nothing to show for it. Not even a superficial bar or percentage.

Sure you can level other classes, but that's a side goal.

Welcome to the poorly implimented ffxiv relic system, where the devs never lear and the grind becomes worse. For some reason the devs mistook that grinds can be fun, for the grind being the fun.

This is so true since the last steps of the previous relic that I almost cried while reading it.
Can someone tell me why isn RNG even in this? Who got this oh-so-awesome idea of throwing RNG everywhere?

I gave up on expecting tank/healer balance after SB.
