Well, I realize part of the problem is that there is a limit to how many fates can spawn in a given area / level range. If there are two or three fates already in the subzone, you may need to clear those to get your fate to appear. I think that's why you can get hour long wait times occasionally.
But waiting for specific fates was a terrible mechanic in general, and I'm glad we've moved away from that in 3.0. If they don't adjust these beast quests a bit, I just know that this is going to get REALLY annoying in the next few weeks.


It's quite clear the adjustment to spawn timers for these FATEs has been removed. Back in 2.x, these FATES never took long to spawn after adjustments, now you can wait an hour and they still don't spaen.
Just gonna discard the FATE dailies from now if they are up by the time the other two are finished...
You get 12 Beastman credits each day. You can avoid choosing the FATE quests for each Beastman tribe. At worst, you will only be able to do 8 (there's only 1 FATE quest for each tribe). You can then do the 3 Vanu FATES. Most of the time, you'll not get all 4 tribes with a FATE on offer and will be able to use all your credits.
Granted, you need 18 vs 13 Vanu quests to get an item BUT considering you can do 6 Alexander runs in an hour otherwise spent waiting around doing nothing, it's not a bad tradeoff.
You can scream through the regular quests with your overpowered character (and no agro). Very quick this way.

I agree, if you want to give us an incentive to do these quests, add the currency to the lower tier quests. Otherwise people grinding for their relic will never do them.
If you're adamant about gating the ability to buy the items at the higher tiers, that's fine, because it'll be a long time before anybody will farm enough for all the items, and can stockpile the tokens until they reach the level.



I'm so mad at SQEX, I was levelling my Chocobo before the patch and these fates spawned really fast.
