I need some help fixing my FFXIV chat settings. If you have yours not cut off, could you help me out with instructions in the settings, please?

This is how my chat settings is by default atm: http://imgur.com/tdtJ2n7 (as you can see, its cut off. It doesn't have the entire chat since I logged in). This is another picture I took after entering another dungeon: http://imgur.com/aVFDaAc (it deletes everything and there's little left in the chat)

I've lost all the presets when I deleted my FFXIV saved data off my PS4 to make space (I have a 500GB HD and my PS4 was pretty much full so I've decided to delete all of the sava data off my PS4 + a few games) huge mistake deleting the saved data, I didn't know it was the data for the settings.... (if there's a way to recover the saved data from the PS4 setting, please let me know also)

Before deleting the saved data my chat settings was different; I could scroll up till the time I logged in and see the FFXIV Welcome text and everything even if I've been logged & active for more than 5 hours. I could see pretty much every conversation/interaction I've had with people, nothing was erased like what you see from the photo) I think I did something to my settings to not have it cut off/erased, I just don't quite remember what I did in the settings because it has been very long time since I touched it, if you have yours not cut off -PLEASE help me out

This is very important to me, without this feature it would be very hard for me to scroll up and look into what others have said to me, specially if I were to report them for an abuse behavior. So, PLEASE help me out. Right now the chat cuts off in the middle of the dungeon

I tried asking elsewhere and everyone is giving the same answer that it will erase by itself at some point, but this has never happened to me. I've never had the the chat txt erased at any point even with me active playing for more than 4-5 hours, I'd still see every single text since I logged.
