Vanu vanu final rank up?!

Is there something wrong with the last quest for the Bloodsworn relationship on vanu vanu tribe? I was very excited to get to the end and there was no real quest to do nor cut scenes. There was no reward from the end quest and no new items added to the vanu vanu vendor (not even dyes). So what was the purpose to going to rank 8... Or is it a glitch?

Just increases your exp from quests is all... I've heard the last quest is really detached from the story lol so yeah..

I think they just did a token quest to get it to rank 8 so it matched the rest of them.

It's not really detached, it's a "thank you for helping us, now go talk with my brother" and he says almost the same and throws a sad attempt at humor using the internet old double rainbow joke.
It's just, it felt empty. It felt i spent the 2 weeks required to get rank 7>8 for nothing as you get a 15 second quest without cutscenes, without reward, without achievement, nothing.

All you get is a +10k exp on your vanu vanu dailies which is irrelevant if you have every class 60'd or don't want to level more DoW/DoMs.

It's the 1st time a quest ever shows this screen too

The quest itself didn't even feel finished. You know how unique quests will show a picture above the quest details? This one had a big blank space where one was suppose to be but no picture. Then after doing the quest which was literally "Talk to quest giver, talk to NPC two feet away, quest complete", it just felt like a lot was missing.

After grinding out 1730 rep points it felt like a very flaccid ending to beast tribe x_x

Yeah, it definitely felt odd finishing it up. I kind of expected nothing special before hand though since you get the last achievement when you hit rank 7.

I was hoping for a totem furnishing or something. I'd like to have a Gundu totem on my front lawn.

Oh, I didn't even notice the picture included. That there just tells me it felt super rushed, like they forgot there was one more rank or something.

Well rank 8 should be a requirement for 3.X allied quests, so hopefully they are good enough to make people happy for going up to rank 8.
