Healer Role Queues

It seems like lately my queue as a WHM have become lengthy if I get in at all. There hare have been a few instances I'd sit in a Void Ark or Expert queue for over an hour, while my friend who is a BRD can get into Void Ark or an expert in just a few minutes.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this as well?

My expert roulette queues as healer seem to vary depending on the time of day. Sometimes I get in under 5 minutes, and some times I get in 10-15 minutes. In regards to VA, when it was first released I remember having hour long queues, but nowadays I seem to get in just fine as a healer. I still probably would get in faster as a DPS though.

I used to get into most things without to much trouble, now it seems queuing is an exercise in frustration as well as trying to get into premades. A few months ago I really didn't have an issue with any, now it seems like as a healer I have become one of the more unneeded job roles as the vast majority of premades that form are overflowing with healers versus DPS and tanks.

What time of day out of curiosity. We're on the same datecentre and when I was queuing for Void Ark as a DPS for Sunday and Monday night (EST) I was getting instant ques. But my EX and L60 ques have been significantly faster as a healer than DPS in the same time slots.

I think the DF issues have been resolved?

But also consider: Astrologian has been quite successful. I did notice an increase in queue times right from 3.0-- I suspect that, yes, there's simply more healers (by ratio) now. On the plus side, endgame-capable healers still seem to be sought after, at least on my server/timezone.

Or it coulooks be over saturation of healers. They're ate as many people that play as a healer now I'd you ever cared enough to really break down search in the game.
