Anima crafted item asking too much?

Uhhh... Anima crafted HQ turn ins require 2 specialist for each item, find that a load of BS, especially since can only have 3 specialist crafts per person and even worst I am in a low pop server there are definitely not that many specialist around or at least diverse enough for such...they should at least make crafter soul blue scrip or able to be obtained elsewhere...

Hey, the first two steps are nice enough that I'm inclined to do them more than once. And I even did the dungeon part fully synced.

Agreed. The last step is hell, especially the cost of the items if you have no crafting leveled up. The first 2 are at least doable with time, the last one you're screwed out of at least half of the thing if you don't have the gil or crafting leveled.

I think that this is the biggest problem. It certainly puts the casual players, the ones that the relic is supposed to be for, in a tough spot.

You could always try asking around to your friends that craft and see if you can work something out. I know I'm willing to make the items if people provide the mats. I've even traded higher end mats with having people provide me stuff that's easier to gather but I use a lot of. A friend wanted 6 Pterodactyls and I told him just to gather me a stack each of Highland Oregano and Furymint whenever he gets the time. *shrug* Saves them money, saves me time. It doesn't always have to be about gil. :3

I am skipping it all entirely. The last part was the nail in the coffin as far as the relic is concerned. I do not have a crafting class and never will. Not after I got a friend to make me a diamond chandelier that she already had the recipe for and failed. After she failed the 200k+ mats I got for her to make it were GONE.

She then went to the Auction house and bought one for me and gave it to me for free. Screw that crap, the crafting in this game is crap. At least in Wow I cant fail to make something I have already learned to make, and have all of my materials disappear.

Putting crafting as a gate for the relic was a big mistake. It almost makes me want to unsub.

Uh. If your friend failed crafting a furniture item (you can't even HQ them) that's her own fault, not the crafting system.

1st step is a slap in the face? One of the most hated aspects of 2.0 relic system was atma, Books were worse yes, but atma was still awful. Now they expect you to gather 18 atma! 18! Sure its crystals now because we'd probably all have aneurysms if we saw the word atma again.

2nd step is fine, relatively short and the upgrade from 170-200 with a glow is neat. This I'm ok with, its kinda refreshing. Queue times are miserable, but hey, when everyone is in relic grind mode u work as a well oiled machine and dungeons get rekt quickly.

3rd step... what can I say about the 3rd step. Besides that its a strange amalgamation of the novus, nexus, and zodiac parts and is so creatively bankrupt I can't really wrap my head around what the dev team was thinking. Now if there are truly only 5 steps to this relic like i've heard, and this is just the really long awful one in the middle like books was for animus, maybe it wont be so bad...Maybe. I doubt it though.
