    So Why are the Etchal 9 being left out of the relic?

    SE, i understand that you are trying to make the Beast tribes relevant again (among others), to that end I ask why can't we use the Oaknots for the Relic stuff? If it's because of stockpiling leftover knots, you could at least make a new currency for them instead of leaving them out. If it was because of the crafting thing? Well at least I could understand that a little, but even then a solution would had been to have them sell all the mats at as high a price (or higher) than the Gundu. If it's both, than there is still the new currency thing.

    I think it's because they already had a currency that could be used for various items. This would give anyone who has saved them a headstart and they don't want that for some reason. Not sure why if that's the case, but that's my theory.

    That was my guess. I finished my Ixali rep the morning of the patch and I have over 50 oaknots just sitting in my inventory. People like me would have a big and "unfair" advantage.

    So why not add in an "Ixali Roseknot" and use that? Ixali is the ONLY beast tribe I have maxed.
