Why is "It's something to do" apparently a valid defense?

Because we are too entlited to this game and we don`t see it. Thats we should be oh-so-ever thankfull at the mercy of SE for giving us this chance of enjoying this throughtly thought, polished and absolutely justified delayed piece of content.

Tomorrow SE could arbritrarely just delete all data in their datacenters for whatever reason and you would see people here defending them "it gives us something to do!", "now we can start anew!" and im not exaggerating, any reasonable person reading these days insane white knighting going on knows it true. Again, the standars of these people is near to non existent. There is people defending that SE took 6 months to copypaste content.

I'm not sure if I'm laughing because of how ridiculously funny it sounds, or the fact that deep in the back of my head, your scenario would just come to pass. It basically sums up this entire situation. I remember reading in another thread yesterday, not sure which, that a person was willing to do whatever SE cranked out, even if it was shit on the plate.

I've actually seen this happen in other games I've played, that's the sad part. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they did something like instantly demolish all houses currently in the game (as an example off of the top of my head), and I would fully expect a large chunk of the community to vehemently defend it.
