    A Relic Reborn is not in the Zodiac subcategory, actually. It's under Job Quests and always has been:



    Up in Arms (the Atma quest) has always been the first quest under the Zodiac saga (which also refers to the weapon as "your relic"):

    What i'm trying to get people to do is more productive than. "stop being negative, take a break." vs "quit being a white knight" endless cycle. But your right Ill just go elsewhere.

    Making the Relic unique in any way that benefits game play will be a problem because it will take the relic from being optional and make it a requirement to a lot of people. That's not something SE wants. They want the relic to be rewarding but at the same time not something a raider feels they have to get.

    The relic's purpose is to allow a way for people to earn high lvl weapons through investing time rather than tackling the very highest difficulty. The relics were never really intended to be better in any way than top tier raid gear.

    Well unless the anima requires raiding tier, it shouldn't objectively be better than raid weapons in every way. And even the, it ios the case now for some jobs due to the secondary stats. That's not to say that it could use some aesthetics to make it stand out, but it shouldn't affect performance.

    That's probably up for debate, actually. While the developers assign a rather small impact to the secondary stats, Zodiac weapons had a higher stat budget than all equivalent item level weapons from the Novus stage through Zeta. That resulted in about an extra 10 Determination or Crit for a Zeta weapon versus a Dreadwyrm Weapon, in 2.5.

    I stood around my personal house a lot just chatting specifically because I was waiting for the Anima questline--it's all I've wanted since 3.0 launched and now that it's here I'm happy with the game again. :x

    I'm pretty sure that the Japanese population outweighs the NA/EU population in this game, so I'm not really getting where people are thinking the team isn't listening to their player-base. English speakers just tend to be more vocal about things but still give SE money hoping the complaints will matter. Other countries just dont support the product if they dont like it, like in Korea.

    Do you have any data to support this? I would have thought the opposite.
    Though, there are 32 servers for Japan and 32 total for NA / EU, so it's probably pretty similar.

    I don't think it's so much that the population outweighs the Western population, I'm pretty sure it's that it's more evenly distributed between servers rather than there being a few big servers in the West with mostly dead servers otherwise.
