It seems like all the weapons, regardless of their name, have the same stat line path.

Animated Elements (Stage 1) is PIE/CRIT
Elements Awoken (Stage 2) is also PIE/CRIT
Animas Weapon (Stage 3) is also PIE/CRIT

So, just getting the weapon to Stage 2 (i200) is probably still a great sub to the Thordan i205 if you're looking to stack CRIT which is a lot faster than getting Stage 3.

That will have to come from a future "Novus" step again. Which I'm sure we'll get at some point.

Agreed. I never wanted to waste my Eso on the normal Elements book because of all the spell speed, so I too, have been using the Hive Codex the whole time. Now, I'm very glad I waited, because even the Awoken book is essentially a more powerful Hive book even before it's upgraded to the Anima.
