What is wrong with people on the forum..?

Hello White Knight.

People are unhappy with the game.
They are being vocal about their displeasure.
The game is in a terrible state right now.
There are not signs it will be improving.
That upsets people.
Upset people tend to post.
White Knights tend to defend blindly cause you see this displeasure as somehow an attack on your happy.
If you are happy--that is awesome, go on and be happy.
But understand unhappy people are unhappy---and they want that unhappiness heard so maybe it will get better....

...because in the end they want to like this game and have the same happy you do. They just dont; because there are issues.

So, simply disagreeing with you makes someone a White Knight? Think on this, this is a public forum, people are free to disagree with each other and post about it all day long. If someone disagrees with your assessment of something and posts in reply to you contradicting your points, that does not make them a 'white knight', it is simply a reply from someone who disagrees with you. Just as you're free to disagree with them. So, if you disagree with someone posting positively, does that make you a Black Knight?

I think the thing is that a lot of the people he is claiming to be a White Knight are unjustly attacking the player who are providing feedback or negative concerns, rather than their concern itself.

For example "you also want a 2-tier system for relic that advantages you like some sort of highway-for-the-rich-only. Except instead of being the 1% of wealthy, it's the 1% of connected raiders."

There is really no need for that kind of discussion. The same message could have been, "I'd have concerns over gating the relic behind raiding, as there are already methods to obtain a great weapon through raiding and this needs to appeal to the casual player who may not be skilled or interested enough in raiding." We could then actually discuss that concern and come to some sort of compromise.


EDIT: I'd like to add, that the White Knight argument is itself hypocritical, as it's also attacking the player rather than the argument. I don't support the use of 'silencing' someone through name-calling, but was merely trying to put a perspective on where I think he is coming from.

For one, that is for the extremely skilled and hardcore raiders. I believe the other player (and myself) are talking about more of a Mid-Core skill level.

So when we get 3.2 patch and they add a coil-level difficulty (either remove savage of 3.2 or let it stand with just achievement/mount rewards) they can use that coil as an additional path to upgrade relic, sure. Make it like 50 of each floor of coil-difficulty, or 200 of each floor normal. With other options open, like as now.

So what you are saying is that until patch 3.2, they should only accommodate casual and hardcore players, but leave midcore players with nothing catered to them?

I am struggling to understand why you don't want to allow more options, so that more people can enjoy the content.
