MMO forums are often used for complaining especially after a patch drops. Anything you see on the forums or from the reddit comes from the vocal minority. Don't let it sway your feelings toward the game.

Vocal minority huh? Clearly you arent seeing the chat in game that I am..
to sum it all up "its not worth it". This is what is going on in ALL of my linkshells
I'd rather stay ingame and enjoy what they gave us together with friends who do the same thing.
And guess what, I don't know if you guys (the whiny ones) realized that you aren't forced to do the new relic. It's completely optional. Don't like it? Don't do it o_O Just like everything else. I enjoy it, many like me enjoy it too and I'm grateful to SE. Keep up the good work! For once something that won't be dated content after a week or the classic "2 deaths = kick, no bonus" in party finder. There, see this option under System in the menu? Yeah that one, the last one on the list, "exit game", go click it ^_^
First bolded --- stay in game and enjoy what they gave us? You mean stay in game, be a lemming and take the pile of crap they dumped on us.
Second bolded -- Trust me, you dont have to tell people to do this, they are ALREADY doing it themselves.
Face it, there is an extreme lack of "give a damn" coming from the devs right now. People asked for the relic quests to be meaningful. Not overly excessive, boring, and mind-numbing. You talk about outdated content, guess what. by the time you finish your relic it WILL be outdated.
SE dropped the ball, end of story.
Am I doing the relic? Yep. Am I enjoying it? Nope
