When ever new set of items is released it is bloody overpriced. Do you have slight idea how much gil income can the battle classes make? It's pitiful.
The crafters live in a completely different world when it comes to their earnings.

That's because we have to invest tremendous amounts of time/gil to be able to craft the best of the best. (AND guarantee HQ for those of you who dont craft at all) It's a tedious process that we relive EVERY few months. Think about the cost of max melding crafting gear, for every, single, craft. Thats why we live in a completely different world.
Please share what world an A4S clear is going for 200-500k so I can transfer there...
Even if it was like that on most servers, the argument is still valid.

And not really, if you can spend hours each day for weeks and earn millions and millions of gil to get the relic you surely could spend even 1m and get a thordan weapon tonight. It's silly to pay the overinflated prices crafters are charging and spend so much time for a weapon that in the end will be a glamour piece. I learned my lesson with all those zeta I made
Kind of happens when everyone can do everything. Until that changes, tradable items will always be high in supply. This games relec sytem is the least of this games problems. ARR currently has was called a en-plodeing economy structure. When ever new set of items are release it sells for a good value, good for crafters-good for buyers right? Heres the problem, this game has abnormally high deflation in this game at a ex-treamly rapid rate. You could spend hours crafting and gathering in this game just to find out that all your hard work was just deflate by 90% withing 3-4 hours. This is a problem with all items in ARR. The reason this happens is people have the ability to see all items currently on the board and what they sell for currently.
Irrelevant, seeing as the point was that it provides a way for those with no other way of getting a 210 weapon (as quoted). Also a thread here showed a server with items each below 100K on day 2 and in another thread a player has already allegedly completed the final step so both of those points are kind of invalid.
